The Best Cast Iron Cookware Products on the market today, personally, is the only brand I use. And I only use products made by Lodge Manufacturing.

Joseph Lodge created a legacy that has lasted through more than half of U.S. history. Even through tough times like the Great Depression, the Lodge family has been committed to keeping their employees and their families afloat.
Customers could buy novelty items such as cast iron animals and garden gnomes were sold in order to keep paychecks coming and families fed.
Consequently, the Lodge Manufacturing Company is still family run, with both CEO’s being the great-grandsons of Mr. Joseph Lodge himself.

Thank you Chrissie. I’m glad you found it helpful! Have a great day!
Hi Mike, I love your site. It is very well presented and it has a lot of information on it. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Norman for all the love! Yes cast iron is well worth the investment. I couldn’t cook with it.
Hello and thanks for sharing the history of this product. I have heard of cast iron cookware many years ago and it seems to me like this product has and is living up to its name.
Cast iron is a good quality product that is worth the investment. Your review is awesome and I am sure that your readers will love what you are sharing.
Thank you Eric for taking the time to comment on our page and site. Yes, I agree with you about our parents and grand-parents use of this great utensil called cast-iron. I absolutely love all of mine and I have several in my collection. Although there are a few more I want to add, my wife may want to kill me for it lol! No, she too cooks her breakfast every morning in cast iron.
Hey Mike, great post! I have been cooking with cast iron forever, it is a great way to cook! I mean, if it was good enough for our great, great, grandparents, it’s good enough for us! I have not heard of Lodge before. I checked out the link on your post and checked out their products, reasonably priced! Thank you for giving some history behind the company, very interesting, great article!
Thanks Scott for your reply. I too love cast iron and they are my favorites as well. As far as carbon steel vs cast, I would say that the differences would be, carbon is probably cheaper price-wise, and it doesn’t keep uniform heat as well across the surface of the pans. Big plus in cast iron cooking!
Nice article.
I have several lodge cast iron skillets in my kitchen. I use them regularly. They’re my favorite pans. I think cast iron is a healthy alternative to any cooking pan, especially aluminum.
Can you tell me how the companies new carbon steel cookware compare to the original cast iron?
Yes thank you. There really is nothing better in my book!
Such a huge fan of cast iron. I have a pot I will never get rid of, it has to be about 100 years old.
