The Lodge 250th Anniversary Skillet Is Here!

Lodge has a brand new signature cast iron skillet out honoring America’s 250th Anniversary, and we are excited to add this to the Mr. Cast Iron collection! This year marks 250 years of America. Lodge released a 250th Anniversary cast iron skillet, stamped with “United States of America – Est. 1776 – 250 Years.” And while it may look like just another 10.25 inch Lodge skillet, this one means a little more to me. My dad was a prisoner of war in World War II. When he passed, the folded American flag that draped his casket came home to us. When I look at that flag and then look at this skillet stamped 1776 to 250 years, I think about generations. Sacrifice. Work. Family. Freedom. Imperfection. Strength. Lodge has been making cast iron in America since 1896. This 10.25 inch pre-seasoned cast iron skillet is still made in the USA, just like it always has been. It cooks the same. It feels the same. But the 250th Anniversary logo reminds us that some things are built to last. America is not perfect. Cast iron is not perfect. Lodge is not perfect. But there is something about all three that keeps us coming back. In this video I share: • The new Lodge 250th Anniversary cast iron skillet • Details about the commemorative 250 years logo • What makes it different from a standard Lodge skillet • Why “Made in USA” still matters • And why this one feels personal Whether you see this as a collectible, a daily cooker, or simply a tribute to 250 years of America, I hope it reminds you of the generations before us and the responsibility we carry forward.
