Peach And Blackberry Cobbler

It's Labor Day weekend so we are making a Peach And Blackberry Cobbler in a cast iron dutch oven. The holidays are a great time for cobbler. Anytime is great for a cobbler! I love blackberry cobbler by itself but I also love peach cobbler too. Today is a combination of both of those two loves! Peach cobbler is one of my all-time favorite summertime desserts. A second would have to be blackberry cobbler. What if we combined the two desserts? What a great idea! So this is what we have done. What would make it any better than that? Well, cooking it in a cast iron dutch over outside on the firepit would. So that's what we did. This is not your typical dump cobbler. We added a little twist to that to help create a little more crust on the bottom too.
